
Yorck Hernandez
Yorck Hernandez studied electrical engineering and telecommunications at the Technical University of Berlin and is graduated Diplom-Ingenieur. He gained practical knowledge in the field of mobile radio technology when he worked with a German provider of mobile telecom services and a major manufacturer of network equipment for mobile communication systems in Berlin/Germany, as well as in the field of optical telecommunications when he worked with a global manufacturer of network equipment in Madrid/Spain.
Yorck Hernandez's practice is focused on prosecuting patent applications in various technical fields, as well as on drafting infringement opinions, freedom-to-operate analyses (FTO) and standard essentiality analyses, in particular in the fields of mobile radio communication (GSM, UMTS, LTE). In addition, he has wide experience in conducting novelty searches and novelty analyses, as well as in attending oral proceedings at the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office. He is also used to cooperate with law firms in other jurisdictions, especially in Asia and North America, to support his clients in international matters.
Yorck Hernandez speaks German, English and Spanish. Furthermore, he has basic knowledge in French. He is member of German patent attorney bar association, GRUR, FICPI, EPI and VPP.
Yorck Hernandez has two kids and likes to spend his spare time with his family, mountain hiking, sailing and playing a pipe organ.
